Bonus Production Services is a Manitoba-based, female-owned and led production company. Principals, Ellen Rutter, Carrie Wilkins, and Rhonda Baker proudly promote Manitoba as a centre of excellence for productions of all sizes.

Bonus draws upon the experience of each partner, using their complementary skills to develop and service both film and television productions. They often receive referrals from Canadian bond companies as a ‘producer of choice’ due to their reputation for bringing projects in on-time and on-budget, while bringing the best creative work to the screen through collaboration with cast, crew, and key creatives.

Ellen (left) began working in film and television in the mid-1980’s managing documentary shoots for the Nation Film Board of Canada, travelling from Germany and Czech Republic to Canada’s Arctic. She then joined the growing drama film production community and quickly began working as a Production Manager. Ellen now works exclusively as a Producer and Line Producer.

Since entering the film industry in 2017, Carrie (middle) has rapidly risen through the production ranks, applying her expertise in financial and project management to excel as a Producer, Line Producer, and UPM for both studio and independent productions. Carrie’s diverse experience across multiple industries uniquely positions her as an asset to projects at every stage - from development through production and ultimately to delivery.

Rhonda (right) brings over 30 years of experience working in the film industry as an Executive Producer, Producer, Line Producer, and VP of Production for an independent production company. In addition to domestic contracts with numerous studios and streamers in North America, Rhonda has worked on several international co-productions with partners from France, the UK, Germany, Belgium, and Spain. Rhonda now provides Executive Producing and Business Affairs within Bonus.
